The LEONX X1 is a very smart looking mountain bike. It has been kitted out with some very impressive components. Yet it remains massively affordable to most.
Let’s start with the bikes frame. It’s made from aluminium which keeps it nice and lightweight. It also benefits from internal cable management. By routing the cables through the frame tubes instead of along the outside of the frame they are more protected. The overall look of the frame is also improved due to the internal cable routing. The frame has some nice decals along it that match the design of the front fork and sports saddle.
The sports saddle is thin and streamlined. It has an Italian racing look and feel to it. It is comfortable and designed for long periods of use. The wheels are 27.5 inches in diameter and have chunky Kendra black tyres as standard.
The LEONX X1 is equipped with a 24 speed Shimano gearing system and performance disc brakes. Overall we’re really impressed by the layout of this bike. Some customers have noted that the bike needs some adjustments upon arrival. This is however very common and we recommend that all new bikes are checked over by someone who knows what they’re doing. If you’re not too sure then check with a local bike servicing facility.
A strong budget mountain bike that we feel would suit beginners or those looking for a new bike without breaking the bank. Take a look for yourself today.
